ESO Solutions Names Brad Cottrell as Director of Business Development for ESO Health Data Exchange
As part of the growing ESO HDE team, Cottrell will help spur the growth of HDE, build partner relationships, and expand the customer base.
"Brad brings a wealth of EMS and customer-focused sales experience to Health Data Exchange," said Allen Johnson, Vice President of ESO HDE. "He understands the need to help healthcare entities connect across the continuum of care to improve patient experience and strive for system efficiency."
ESO Health Data Exchange, a NEMSIS 3 compliant product, is revolutionizing the healthcare profession by giving EMS agencies access to much-needed clinical outcome and billing data while allowing hospitals to access prehospital data in any format they require. HDE's vendor-agnostic design allows any EMS or hospital system, once connected to the HDE platform, to collaborate with any other connected agency, hospital, or other part of a healthcare network.
"Healthcare has begun to shift focus, and patient data exchange is an essential part of that change," said Cottrell. "Today, ESO is the only company that provides the tools necessary for EMS agencies to stay relevant in the data collection and exchange movement. I'm passionate about the work ESO is doing, and I'm excited to return and help advance the company vision."
Cottrell rejoins the ESO team after a recent position as Director of Customer Development at Chaotic Moon Studios. In his previous role at ESO as National Sales Manager, Cottrell led the sales team for three years, serving as a mentor while driving sales and promoting company growth. After receiving his paramedic license in 1995, he spent seven years in the EMS field as an Advanced Paramedic in Ventura County, Calif.
The current expansion of the ESO HDE team reflects not only the growth of the HDE product line, but the company's commitment to improving community health through the power of data.
