EMS Office Hours: When Online Paramedic Training Works
On a new episode of the EMS Office Hours podcast Evan Feuer joined host Jim Hoffman to talk about becoming a paramedic through an online training program. Evan and Medic Training International cater to overseas providers seeking to become nationally registered paramedics. While Jim has reservations on this method of certification, Evan pointed out that the training is really “hybrid training” and not an online course.

MedicCast: Fifth Anniversary of Our EMS Podcast Studio
This month MedicCast host Jamie Davis, the Podmedic talked about the upcoming Podcast Studio at EMS World Expo conference in Las Vegas. The EMS podcasters from the ProMed Network will be back in Las Vegas this September to cover the conference. This will be the 5th anniversary of the podcast studio at EMS World Expo. Five years ago Jamie met with Chris Montera, EMS filmmaker Ted Setla, Carissa O’Brien, Greg Friese and others and they put on the first ever podcast studio to live broadcast from an international EMS industry event.
“The fifth anniversary podcast studio is going to be an event all by itself. Every day we’ll be putting out the best in EMS content and there will be daily giveaways, gifts for podcast guests and more!” says MedicCast host Jamie Davis, the Podmedic.
The MedicCast is a weekly program for EMS providers at all levels with news, commentary, tips, tricks and interviews on EMS and healthcare topics.
