No charges for former medic who kicked homeless man on video

The Dallas Police Department finished reviewing a public integrity investigation that cleared Brad Cox

DALLAS — No charges will be filed against a former Dallas Fire-Rescue paramedic over an incident in which he was filmed on camera kicking a homeless man repeatedly in the head, the Dallas Observer reported Monday.

The Dallas Police Department has finished reviewing a public integrity investigation that cleared Brad Cox.

The man Cox was seen kicking in the video is Kyle Vess, who has a documented mental illness.

Cox was put on leave after the video surfaced and was later fired.
