Austin-Travis County EMS purchases 70 ambulance child restraint systems


LAKE SUCCESS, NY — Quantum EMS, is pleased to announce that Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services has purchased 70 Ambulance Child Restraint Systems (ACRs) for their fleet , allowing for the safe effective restraint of all Pediatric Patients that they transport from 11-99 pounds.

Austin-Travis County EMS serves over 1,100 square miles, including all of Travis County and parts of Williamson and Hays Counties. Eighteen cities are included in this service area, including the City of Austin, the 11th largest city in the U.S. The Operations division includes Field Operations, Fleet & Facilities, Special Operations, Communications, Scheduling, Special Events, and Emergency Management.
