SensorSphere technology for emergency scene safety to launch in May

The robotic ball is equipped with a high-definition camera and environmental monitoring sensors to remotely gather information about a scene

SensorSphere is a Wi-Fi connected robotic ball equipped with a high-definition camera and environmental monitoring sensors to remotely gather information about an environment.

The ball can be driven using any mobile device from a remote location. The camera, microphone, temperature and humidity sensors provide information about a situation before the responders actually enter the area.

The technology will launch in May 2016 and was presented at the EMERGE Demo Day in San Francisco on Sept. 23, 2015.
