  1. Where did your company name originate from? 
    Having one (1) goal to help clients achieve their goal of maximizing revenue for their company which produced the one with MD1 and HR1.
  2. What was the inspiration behind starting your company? 
    One of the biggest challenges in running an EMS company is tracking all your revenue cycle information. MD1 developed the Continuum Dashboard so we could track all our EMS revenue cycle information from anywhere. After years of real-world testing with our EMS company, we decided to make this available to other EMS companies so they would have access to their information in order to make more informed decisions about their company.
  3. What is your signature product and how does it work? 
    Continuum, which provides companies access to all their revenue cycle information: charges, payments, aging, etc., as well as scheduling, dispatch, insurance eligibility, ERAs, fleet management and HR services with one click and available 24/7 from any device. 
  4. Why do you believe your products are essential to the EMS community? 
    Our Continuum Dashboard allows our clients to have everything they need to successfully run and grow their business in one place. From complete revenue cycle management, to scheduling and dispatch, to insurance verification, financial reports and online ERAs. This allows management and their team to not have to navigate between multiple links to access the information they need to operate efficiently.
  5. What has been the biggest challenge your company has faced? 
    The ever-changing landscape of government regulations and commercial insurance policies, especially during COVID. We have been able to meet these challenges head on and thrive, adding new clients during the pandemic.
  6. What makes your company unique? 
    We not only do ambulance coding and billing every day, but we also own a private ambulance company, so we experience what our clients do on a daily basis. This gives us a unique perspective on what they face that other ambulance billing companies cannot provide.
  7. What do your customers like best about you and your products? 
    Transparency between MD1 and our clients. Their complete revenue cycle information, as well as scheduling, dispatch and insurance eligibility checker, are all available on their role-based Dashboard 24/7 from any device. Our entire tech, coding and billing team are U.S.-based. We have over 25 years of ambulance billing experience, including over five years of Medicare Prior Authorization billing experience.

    Helping companies grow by providing the best billing and revenue cycle service possible.
  9. What’s next for your company? Any upcoming new projects or initiatives? 
    We are strongly engaged with listening to the responses from our clients to provide the needed features to keep Continuum simple and easy for the client to have complete transparency with all aspects of their company’s bottom line.
