ZOLL and Payor Logic to help EMS agencies optimize payment revenue
CHELMSFORD, Mass. — ZOLL® Medical Corporation’s Data Management division and Payor Logic announced today a cooperation to help EMS agencies simplify the EMS billing process and optimize revenue through a new solution called RescueNet® Billing Pro. This software product will be unveiled during the 2017 ZOLL SUMMIT, May 16-18, at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel.
ZOLL’s RescueNet Billing Pro combines the platform of ZOLL’s RescueNet Billing with Payor Logic’s data mining techniques to allow EMS agencies to perform insurance discovery and verification, PCR data extraction, and real-time demographic verification. By combining the strengths of these technologies through RescueNet Billing Pro, EMS agencies avoid common billing issues that often result in decreased revenue. Integration with ZOLL’s ePCR and dispatch solutions offer further time-saving benefits.
“The ability to quickly and accurately identify patient insurance and determine the likelihood to get paid will drastically help EMS agencies improve their billing efficiency and ultimately increase their revenue,” said Alex Moghadam, President of ZOLL’s Data Management division. “Our collaboration with Payor Logic will make it easier than ever for billing staff to access critical information across multiple platforms, allowing them to get more done.”
“Recent technology enhancements have narrowed the data gap that has historically existed in EMS billing,” said Tyler Williams, President of Payor Logic. “Through the ZOLL and Payor Logic relationship, EMS agencies now have real-time access to actionable receivables and payer data that significantly improves their bottom lines.”
