NORCAL Ambulance is hiring Critical Care Transport Nurses for full and part-time positions at

various locations in the SF bay area.

Highest paid in CA $79-$84/HR. 

Full Time & Part Time; 12 hour shifts available

As northern California's largest critical care transport provider, we currently have openings on day,

eve and night shifts in San Rafael, Dublin and Concord with more locations coming in 2022. We are

looking for Registered Nurses who genuinely desire to provide unparalleled customer service in an

ever-changing environment.

Working as a CCT RN allows you to utilize years of critical care knowledge and experience in caring

for patients in a one-to-one situation. No multiple patient assignments. CCT transport is a

constantly changing professional situation far different from the monotony of working in a hospital

ER or ICU. We love knowledge and growth. All RN’s receive specialized training in skills such as

intubation, surgical airway and ventilator management. Our goal is to provide you with the best

equipment, training, skills and team members to prepare you to care for critically ill patients in

need of specialized care during transport.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide care and management of unstable, critically ill or injured patients of all ages.
  • Utilize your knowledge and understanding of mechanical ventilation, advanced airway management and specialized oxygen administration equipment.
  • Demonstrate a solid foundation of critical thinking skills, establish priorities with available equipment and resources and lead a team of specially trained EMTs.
  • Establish and communicate a plan of care for patients to primary medical providers, facilities, patient and their families.
  • Function as a leader of a dynamic team with willingness and the ability to work independently.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years recent experience working as an RN in a critical care field which may include any combination of ER, ICU and CCT.
  • Unencumbered Current California Registered Nurse License
  • American Heart Association CPR, ACLS and PALS
  • Valid California Driver’s License
  • Prior EMS experience will be considered towards qualifications.
