The Position

We’re looking for EMT-P paramedics to staff a wellness-focused employer onsite clinic. We pay market-based pay rates with a competitive benefit package with not having to work weekends or holidays. Your hours align to the regular work-week of our clients.

Requirements

Certified or Licensed EMT-paramedic with 2 years of 911 experience.

Good physical assessment and exam instrument skills.

Friendly and open demeanor.

Self-directed work ethic and comfort working independently.

Responsibilities

The EMT-P medic will staff and operate a small clinic delivering convenience care, wellbeing and health promotion programs for the employer. Under the supervision of the treating physician, will provide supportive medical assistance to perform medical encounters. These activities include, but are not limited to, patient registration, patient history, vital sign measurement, assistance with a physical examination, phlebotomy, administering IM/SQ medication injections, patient education, and patient discharge instruction. All work is done with an electronic medical record.

The Location

The Medicine at Work clinic location is a private clinic in an employer worksite in the Hamilton, North Carolina area.
