Armed Security Officer/EMT III or MICP: North Slope, Alaska

Denali Universal Services is seeking an EMT III or Paramedic to join the Security team at Kuparuk on the North Slope, Alaska. This position performs a variety of security related functions in a remote camp, and when necessary, administers emergency medical treatment. Primary duties at this location are security related. Incumbents in this position are required to be firearms licensed, trained and qualified. This is a rotational position, working a two week on / two week off schedule. Competitive pay for only working half of the year! Flights are provided between Anchorage and the North Slope.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• EMT III certification or MICP (State of Alaska)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• Valid driver’s license
• Possess, or able to obtain, State of Alaska Security Guard License
• Possess, or able to obtain, class B Commercial Driver License with passenger endorsement
