CROSBY, Texas — A paramedic providing aid during Hurricane Harvey returned home to her family, including an excited dog.

ABC7 reported that paramedic Karen Elkins’ husband, Derek, filmed the moment she reunited with their dog, Peck.

The video shows Peck kissing Karen repeatedly and wagging his tail uncontrollably.

"My wife Karen Elkins just got home after working 164 hours straight on the ambulance due to Hurricane Harvey,” Derek said in a Facebook post.  “Our lab Peck was just a little happy to see his momma."
