Campaign for partner of slain FDNY EMT spreads worldwide

#PartnerProject encourages paramedics to take pictures with their partners to support fallen EMT Yadira Arroyo's partner

AUSTIN, Texas — A paramedic and podcast host’s movement to support the partner of fallen FDNY EMT Yadira Arroyo has gone global.

After Ginger Locke, associate professor at Austin Community College, saw the video of Arroyo being run over by a man who had taken control of her ambulance, she created #PartnerProject.

She hoped paramedics everywhere would send in photos with their partners to support Arroyo's partner, Monique Williams. The results have been overwhelming.

Locke stated that over a thousand photos were posted and have come from New Zealand, Australia, Ireland and Mexico.

The finished collage will be sent to Williams, and the photos can be viewed online using #PartnerProject

Last day at Medic 24. Look how happy we still are😁😴 #partnerproject
