MindTalk introduces bone-conduction technology for rescue communications

The patent-pending bone conduction technology would allow emergency responders to literally 'listen through their bones'

The MindTalk technology, presented at the EMERGE Demo Day in San Francisco on Sept. 23, 2015, wants to make communications possible and clear when operating in loud spaces, like a rescue scene.

MindTalk uses patent-pending bone conduction technology to allow emergency responders to literally “listen through their bones”.

The technology will be integrated into respirators and other first-responder equipment to allow radio communications in loud and extreme environments, where headphones won’t work and ear protection is necessary.
