NY medic indicted for robbing patients' homes
Firearms, jewelry, electronics and cash found in search of his home; police say after someone was take to the hospital he would go back and steal items

KINGSTON, N.Y. — A paramedic has been indicted on grand jury charges stemming from burglaries at Hudson Valley homes where he had responded to emergency calls.
The Times Herald-Record that an Ulster County grand jury indicted 48-year-old German Lobaton of Spring Glen on charges that include burglary, grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.
In October, state police arrested Lobaton after burglaries were reported at three homes he had visited while working for several different local rescue squads. Troopers say after someone was taken to the hospital, Lobaton would go back to the homes and steal items.
Police say a search of his home turned up a stash stolen property, including firearms, jewelry, electronics and cash.
He’s being held in the county jail on $50,000 bail. It couldn’t be determined if he has a lawyer.
