KINGSTON, Wash. — A baby celebrated her first birthday with the responders who delivered her in an ambulance during a snowstorm.
KING5 reported that baby Eleanor’s mom, Lekeisha, took her to the fire station to reunite with the crew that delivered her in the back of the ambulance after her father called 911 because they were snowed in and could not get to the hospital.
“I had only been a resident here for about a month and a half, so this was a very, very intense call for a new guy,” EMT Davidson said.
“It was pretty crazy last year, we got about six inches of snow before we even got to the ambulance,” Lakeisha said. “I think it’s pretty awesome that they helped deliver her safely. They’ve been part of her life since then.”
The celebrating included a birthday cake and song for Eleanor.
