SEATTLE — A driver was arrested following a fatal crash involving an AMR vehicle in Seattle.

According to the Washington State Patrol, a car broke down on the southbound Interstate 5 ramp from the West Seattle Bridge on June 1. When the four occupants exited the vehicle to reach a safe location, one of them was struck by a motorhome, KING5 reported.

The Washington State Patrol reported that an AMR employee began aiding the pedestrian struck by the motorhome when they saw a third vehicle rapidly approaching.

The AMR employee jumped out of the way as the vehicle hit the AMR truck, pushing it into the disabled car and trapping the pedestrian underneath.

Troopers reported that the driver involved in the second incident is in custody on suspicion of impairment and vehicular homicide, KOMO News reported.
