COLUMBUS, Ohio — Two firefighter-medics were injured in an ambulance crash in Ohio Wednesday night.
Columbus Fire Battalion Chief Steve Martin said the ambulance crew was transporting a patient when the rig was struck by a vehicle that ran a red light, according to ABC 6.
The two firefighter-medics, the driver of the other vehicle, and the patient, who had been injured in a previous crash, were transported to the hospital and said to be in stable condition.
A Columbus police officer witnessed the crash and the driver of the vehicle that struck the ambulance was ticketed.
Martin said the ambulance appears to be totaled after the crash, WBNS reported.
