OMAHA, Neb. — They’re ready to go with police on some of the most dangerous calls. Soon, those same Omaha paramedics will also respond alongside SWAT teams from Douglas and Sarpy counties. It’s a new collaboration meant to save lives across the metro.

Paramedics Adam Ohrt and Christian Gage are specifically trained to follow law enforcement into high-risk situations. “We need to be prepared for any incident that could take place,” Gage said.
