TOFINO, B.C. — A memorial service honouring the lives of two paramedics killed earlier this week when their ambulance plunged off a cliff will be held in two weeks.
Jo-Ann Fuller and Ivan Polivka died after their ambulance sunk into Kennedy Lake.
The memorial service Nov. 6 is expected to include an honour guard of uniform paramedics.
Meanwhile, Jeff Dolan of the B.C. Coroner’s Service says autopsies have been conducted on both paramedics, but the coroner is not releasing the cause of death.
Dolan says the coroner must first decide whether to hold an inquest.
