LAKEWOOD, Colo. — Friends and family are searching for a paramedic that went missing Friday.
Eric Pracht, 25, went out for a walk without his shoes and keys, said his family, and hasn’t been seen since.
“We came and looked (Saturday) all day and today we’ve got family and friends out here today looking,” Eric’s father, Randy Pracht said. “Him and I went paddling on Thursday and he was in a great mood, everything was going good, so we’re just kinda baffled what happened.”
Pracht is a paramedic at the South Park Ambulance District. Police told KDVR that he was hanging out with friends at his condominium Friday night, but has not been seen since.
“They’d been drinking. They got together and they had a conversation and things got a little heated,” Randy Pracht said. “He told his fiancee ‘I just need to take a walk around the complex. I’ll be back in five minutes, and that was the last we saw of him.’”
His family said Pracht has a cellphone with him, in which a call was made Saturday afternoon. It was pinged off a cell tower at the base of Green Mountain.
“We’ve scoured the area. We searched Green Mountain, the south side a little bit, but I seriously don’t think he’s gonna be walking without shoes up there,” Randy Pracht said.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
