CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A man was flown to Columbus after colliding with a Chillicothe ambulance this afternoon.
The ambulance was pulling out of Station 3 on East Main Street to respond to a call when an eastbound car, driven by Tracey Karshner, struck it about 12:21 p.m., according to information from Chillicothe Police Chief Roger Moore and Chillicothe Fire Department Lt. Frank Woods.
Karshner was first taken to Adena Regional Medical Center and then on to a Columbus hospital with an arterial bleed from a facial cut, Moore said. Moore was unsure which hospital Karshner was taken to and neither Grant or The Ohio State University medical centers had him listed as a patient Sunday night.
