LAS VEGAS — American Medical Response has identified the EMS provider who died in a rollover ambulance crash.

KTNV reported that EMS attendant Garry John, 57, was an employee of AMR for four years, according to regional director Scott White.

“At 11:48 p.m., we heard a Mayday call over the radio twice,” White said.

White said Johns was a quiet, but personable employee, and he will be “sorely missed.”

According to White, the driver of the ambulance was “devastated” by the incident.

National Highway Patrol was thanked by White, who said the escort of John and the patient who also died was “very touching.”
