DALLAS — Police say a woman stabbed a man after he asked to be her boyfriend at a Buckner Terrace motel, then ventured to Taco Bell.
Christie Wilson, 23, was booked Tuesday on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She is being held in the Dallas County Jail on $25,000 bail.
Officers responded to a stabbing call around 6 p.m. Tuesday after the victim showed up at Doctors Hospital in bad shape.
Police were directed to the Race Way and Super 7 Inn, a gas station and motel on Interstate 30 near Jim Miller Road known to police as a hot spot for prostitution.
When they arrived, officers found a blood trail leading out of a room. Wilson answered the door when they knocked.
She told police that the victim had given her money and asked to be her boyfriend, then became angry when she said no. Wilson stabbed him multiple times in the calf with a small stiletto, police records show.
After stabbing the man, Wilson used the money he had given her to go to CVS and Taco Bell, she told police. Investigators did not say whether she was involved in prostitution.
Police said the victim lost a lot of blood in the stabbing, requiring paramedics to perform “life-saving measures.”
