LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. — A volunteer paramedic was arrested after accusations that he had inappropriate contact with an underage female, according to the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office.
Timothy M. Ward, 31, was charged with indecent liberties with a child by a person in a custodial or supervisory relationship and use of a communication device to solicit a child, WUSA9 reports.
Ward is a Lieutenant at the Hamilton Volunteer Rescue Squad and a volunteer paramedic with the Sterling Rescue Squad. He is being held on no bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
Investigators are withholding other details in the case in order to protect the identity of the victim.
