DELHI, India — The video of a suicide attempt by a young woman on Delhi metro tracks has come to light. HT has the shocking 48-second clip which shows the woman jumping on to the tracks in front of a speeding train.
When the train is gone, she emerges…a bit shaken but without a scratch!
Both the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) — agencies in charge of the Delhi metro and its security — confirmed that the incident happened on June 9 (a Sunday, which possibly explains a deserted platform) at 5 pm at the Civil Lines metro station and was caught on the CCTV camera.
