DALLAS COUNTY, Ala. — The head of the Dallas County Emergency Management Agency is out of a job and in trouble with the law, along with her husband.
The couple is accused of stealing thousands from the county and using the EMA’s computers to do it.
Dallas County EMA director Rhonda Abbott, 47, and her husband, Bryan Johnson, 33, have been indicted on several charges, including theft and ethics violations. They allegedly embezzled $20,000 from the Selma-Dallas County Rescue and Volunteer Fire Department.
