2 FDNY EMTs propose at graduation ceremony

NEW YORK — FDNY EMS’ squad graduation ceremony was extra special for two graduates Wednesday.

ABC7.com reported graduates Shane Mezzacappa and Antwann Morales proposed to their girlfriends following the graduation ceremony in New York.

Fellow graduates held up signs spelling out “Will you marry me?” for one of the proposals.

Graduates and onlookers cheered on during the proposals.

After taking their oaths of office, two of today’s EMS Academy graduates took a big step towards happily after ever! Congrats to #FDNY EMT Antwann Morales and EMT Shane Mezzacappa, both of whom proposed to their new fiancées following today’s graduation.
