BURBANK, Calif. — Friends, family and colleagues bid farewell to a veteran firefighter-paramedic who died of a stroke earlier this month.
Burbank firefighter-paramedic Ken Anderson, 49, died after suffering a stroke March 11, reported the Daily News. The 23-year veteran was escorted Thursday by colleagues during a procession to his funeral services.
Anderson leaves behind his wife and four daughters.
“With a heavy heart, we please ask for your help to support the Anderson family during this incredibly difficult time. Everything helps, even just a prayer,” a GoFundMe page stated.
Firefighters from neighboring areas stepped in to cover Burbank fire stations while Anderson’s colleagues attended his funeral.
