WAIPUKURAU, New Zealand — A Hawke’s Bay ambulance officer used laughing gas to drug a teenage girl in the back of an ambulance before molesting her, a crown lawyer says.
Christopher Roger King, 47, a former St John Ambulance officer from Waipukurau, is on trial at Napier District Court for assaulting four women aged from 15 to 57.
He has been charged with stupefaction, indecent assault, sexual violation, and making an intimate visual recording of a 15-year-old girl while taking her to Waipawa in an ambulance, between January 2010 and July 2013. King resigned from the service last year.
