LANGRUTH, Manitoba — Paramedics across the province are mourning the death of a colleague.
The man, whose name has not been released, was killed in a head-on collision on Highway 50, about eight kilometres south of Langruth Thursday night around 8 pm.
Investigators believe a deer ran across the highway, and the driver of a northbound vehicle took evasive action to avoid the animal, crossed the centre line, and slammed into the southbound vehicle, killing the driver and lone occupant.
