Strategix Acquires National EMS Equipment Provider EMS*USATM

MELBOURNE, Fla. — Strategix, L.L.C. announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Emergency Medical Supply, Inc. of Shepherdsville, Kentucky. Emergency Medical Supply, Inc., a privately held company doing business as EMS*USATM (www.goemsusa.com) is a national supplier of equipment, supplies and uniforms to emergency medical services, fire and police departments particularly in the midwest, south and eastern United States.

“We intend on merging the operations of EMS*USATM and Major Incident Response - MIRTM (another Strategix company) over the coming months.” said Tom Biddix, President of Strategix. “EMS*USA’sTM customer service capabilities, warehouse operations, sewing and manufacturing capabilities and its close proximity to UPS’s national hub in Louisville are terrific pluses we want to leverage.” said Biddix.

EMS*USATM currently operates a 32,500 square foot customer service and distribution complex from its headquarters in Shepherdsville, Kentucky. Biddix states that plans are already underway to expand the Shepherdsville facility as well as adding several regional warehouses to the Melbourne, Florida and Tempe Arizona facilities Strategix already operates.

While operations for the merged company will be located in Kentucky; executive management, finance, accounting, human resources, information systems and legal services will be based in Florida. A regional warehouse and some sales activities will also remain in Florida to support operations in Florida and the southeastern United States.

“EMS*USATM brings a strong sales team and market presence to the merger.” says Billy Martin, Vice President of EMS*USATM who as a Vice President with Strategix will assist in product development, product acquisitions, manufacturing and other activities for the new company.

“We bring Strategix and Major Incident Response an existing sales force of twelve sales representatives in the field, and Strategix brings us a number of new and exciting proprietary products such as the UnifoldTM shelter system, Odor ScreenTM and the BioBoardTM” backboard sanitizer said Chip Brake, EMS*USATM National Sales Manager who will become Vice President of Sales for the merged company. “It’s a great match.” he said. Chip also states that the new company is already in the process of hiring additional customer service representatives that have even more of a background with Medical and Fire services, as well as outside sales representatives which will expand our sales coverage into new areas across the country.

Vice President of Marketing Ross Baum reports that “Both entities will continue to be known in there respective markets as EMS*USATM and MIRTM and will use their existing logos while operating jointly under the Strategix banner. He also stated that a new combined products catalog is being completed for distribution during the first quarter of 2006. “Our goal for our combined customer base is to greatly enhance our product offering and our service delivery” says Baum, “we call it Xtreme Customer Service! “
