UNIVERSITY PARK, IL – Federal Signal has introduced the new 650 Series Siren to address the need for a compact, remotely mounted siren that can be completely operated without the use of a separate control panel. Its microphone incorporates a rugged 10-button, rubberized keypad with dedicated keys for On/Off, PA, Air Horn, Tone Selection, Peak-and-Hold, and two Auxiliary emergency warning switches. In addition, three numbered keys allow the prioritization of warning light and sound sequencing, functioning like a progressive slide switch.
Although the 650 Series Siren is compact in size it packs a full 100-watt punch, and can operate with any standard 100-watt speaker. The small dimensions of the siren permit easy installation in the tightest vehicle equipment areas. Its microphone holder mounts in any convenient space, without using valuable dashboard or console real estate. And microphone-to-amplifier connections are simple, using the included cable with RJ-style, snap-in connectors.
The 650 Series Siren from Federal Signal offers big siren features in a little package, providing the key elements required for effective emergency warning for even the smallest vehicle spaces.
