Page, Wolfberg & Wirth Celebrates 15 Years of Service

Page, Wolfberg & Wirth (PWW), The National EMS Industry Law Firm®, today announced the fifteenth year of providing EMS legal and educational service to the EMS community. The firm has been a wealth of resources for EMS agencies, Mobile Integrated Healthcare providers, EMS billing companies, public safety agencies and others related to the provision of emergency medical services and ambulance service in the United States.

Page, Wolfberg & Wirth opened the doors of the first law firm in the nation devoted exclusively to EMS law fifteen years ago on this date, January 20, 2000. Jim Page, Doug Wolfberg and Steve Wirth turned their lifelong passion for EMS into a full-service law firm devoted exclusively to the nation’s emergency medical services industry. Over the course of the last fifteen years, PWW has become the nation’s most trusted source for EMS legal and consulting services. Fifteen years ago these three EMS leaders did not imagine where PWW would be today.

Within three years of opening, the size of PWW’s practice doubled. Throughout this time the firm developed high quality products and services such as our HIPAA publications, documentation and training videos, the desktop reference guides and more. Additionally, the attorneys and consultants of PWW have become among the most sought-after speakers, educators and presenters at EMS conferences, seminars and events nationwide. Currently PWW has a staff of fifteen and serves thousands of EMS clients across in all 50 states and U.S. territories.

Only four years after the firm began, in October of 2004, the highly popular abc3 (Ambulance Billing, Coding and Compliance Clinic) was launched and continues to be a huge success and the key resource for billing and compliance education. Only five years after the inception of this conference, the PWW Executive Institute (XI) was created, soon becoming an attractive one-day event for EMS leaders and managers.

Sadly, only four years into the firm’s existence, Jim Page died unexpectedly. Jill was well known for his candid and pragmatic advice on a wide range of EMS issues, always advocating for doing the right thing when faced with a challenge. There has been no greater way to honor Jim’s legacy and memory than to serve our clients from the foundation of core values that Jim instilled in us those many years ago. Page, Wolfberg & Wirth will serve as an enduring and living testament to the life and values of Jim Page as an attorney and champion for doing what is right.

We are grateful to the EMS community for embracing us and allowing us to serve you through our range of legal and consulting services, conferences, webinars, publications and videos. We’re looking to the future and the next fifteen years of service to EMS and the medical transportation industry!
