This off-road capable trailer allows climate regulated cargo including food, water, medications and plasma to be moved into and out of severe-duty environments.
“This trailer can go where most others can’t, making it ideal for emergency situations when fire, flooding or some other disaster eliminates access to people who need help,” said Robin Johnson, Vice President of North American Military Business Development at Silver Eagle Manufacturing. “The CRCT can take items that need to be frozen or cold right into environments that other rescue vehicles and trailers can’t maneuver.”
The CRCT, short for Climate Regulated Cargo Trailer, can be pulled by any 3/4 ton pickup truck or SUV and can even be airlifted into areas of need, due to its light weight and size. Developed in a joint effort with Amtech, LLC, the CRCT includes a 118 cubic foot insulated interior with a robust stainless steel floor that can be portioned off to create both frozen and refrigerated holding compartments.
The CRCT is integrated onto a rugged and proven off-road trailer platform featuring rived aircraft aluminum construction and an independent, torsilastic shock-mounted suspension, to make it through the toughest terrains. The refrigeration system includes a highly-reliable Thermo King system with thermostatically controlled fans.
