Vidacare Corporation’s EZ-IO Intraosseous Vascular Access System Reaches Growth Milestone with Two Million Needle Sets Sold

San Antonio, TX - Vidacare Corporation announced today that it has surpassed sales of two million EZ-IO Intraosseous Vascular Access System needle sets, marking a new growth milestone for the company. Vidacare attributes this achievement to continued acceptance and increased adoption of intraosseous vascular access across multiple medical platforms in parallel with the company’s strategic global expansion efforts.

Vidacare’s EZ-IO Intraosseous Vascular Access System is the first battery-powered device to establish immediate vascular access for patients in multiple clinical settings using the intraosseous (inside the bone) space. The EZ-IO is used by 90 percent of US advanced life support ambulances and over half of US Emergency Departments, as well as the US Military.

“This is a significant milestone for Vidacare because it illustrates the value and continued acceptance of IO as a way to save patients’ lives,” said Mark Mellin, President and Chief Executive Officer of Vidacare Corporation.
