LOS ANGELES — Authorities say 12 people are injured following a three-vehicle crash in suburban Los Angeles.
Alhambra Fire Department Battalion Chief Tom Phelps says the crash occurred Sunday night.
11 people were rushed to hospitals, including two in critical condition.
He says that another person had minor injuries but refused hospital treatment.
The official says two of the injured were temporarily trapped in one of the vehicles, but he didn’t have other details on the injured.
Phelps tells City News Service that a pickup truck was northbound on an Alhambra street when it hit a southbound car and a parked car.
Five ambulances and three fire engine companies responded to the scene.
