iTraumaCare®, an early-stage medical device firm focused on developing traumatic injury solutions for first responder, emergency medicine and military medicine applications, has unveiled the newest iteration of the iTClamp® Hemorrhage Control System. This updated version of the device offers the same clinically-proven effective hemorrhage control with an improved design that allows for better handling and use.
The next-generation iTClamp is manufactured in Grand Rapids, Michigan and has been engineered to offer:
- More control – easier to apply and remove
- Ergonomic design – bigger release buttons for efficient handling
- Increased Safety – design reduces needle exposure for operators
- Convenience – lighter device with streamlined packaging
- Effective solutions – immediate control of bleeding, with proven safety.
The new version of the product is available immediately.
“Based on user feedback from the field, we’ve updated the design of our iTClamp to be even easier to use and more efficient for clinicians while maintaining the proven safety and efficacy of the device,” commented iTraumaCare’s President and CEO Joe Brennan.
The iTClamp Hemorrhage Control System is designed to control bleeding in seconds and can be used in the scalp, neck, extremities, groin and axilla areas. The iTClamp seals the edges of a wound closed to create a temporary hematoma under pressure that mitigates further blood loss until the wound can be surgically repaired.
