AUSTIN, Texas — An ambulance taking a man in cardiac arrest to the hospital Monday morning was hit by another car at an intersection in North Austin.
Austin/Travis County EMS spokesperson Warren Hassinger said the ambulance had responded to a man found unresponsive under the bridge.
The ambulance was crossing through the intersection of Research Boulevard and Olhen Road when another car ran a red light and t-boned it, Hassinger said. Hassinger also reported that driver did not have a driver’s license or insurance.
