SEATTLE — The State Patrol says a motorcycle rider apparently wasn’t paying attention when he rammed the back of an ambulance on Interstate 5 in Seattle early Monday.
The ambulance had stopped in the northbound carpool lane to help at a seven-car accident in the southbound lanes.
At about 6:50 a.m., just as the emergency medical technician was walking to the rear of the ambulance, a motorcycle crashed into the rear of the vehicle, throwing the driver into the doors.
