BILLINGS, Mont. — First an ambulance overturned on Interstate 90 on its way to a call Saturday night.
Then a Montana Highway Patrol vehicle was damaged and the trooper was injured when a vehicle hit his car as he sat inside waiting for a wrecker to arrive.
Both accidents occurred at mile marker 464, at the Pryor Creek exit, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.
The American Medical Response ambulance was eastbound on I-90, according to MHP Sgt. Jay Nelson, when it lost control on the ice and rolled on its side in the median. That accident occurred at 7:05 p.m., Nelson said.
