Michelin is offering citizens the opportunity to nominate local firefighters or EMS personnel to receive a free full set of tires for “an emergency services vehicle — from ambulances to small rescue trucks and sport utility vehicles.” As part of Michelin’s Driving America’s Safety Program, Michelin will give one set of tires to 25 different EMS agencies and fire departments across the country.
A nomination is an essay of at least 300 words that describes why a local EMT or firefighter should get a free set of tires, including a “compelling” story about the impact the first responder has on the community, a description of the organization’s financial need and the type of apparatus it uses.
Nominations must be postmarked by Oct. 31. Send them to Michelin’s Driving America’s Safety Program, c/o Cohn & Wolfe, 292 Madison Ave., 8th Floor, New York, N.Y. 10017, or submit them by e-mail to michelinman@cohnwolfe.com.
We’re rooting for some EMS1.com readers to win these tires for their squad!
