BOSTON — A local family says an ambulance service is to blame for their loved one’s death and now they are taking that claim to court.
The family of Barbara Grimes is suing American Medical Response for its alleged role in Grimes’ 2009 death.
An attorney for the family says Grimes was being rolled out on a stretcher en route to a dialysis treatment in Plymouth, when the AMR crew dropped her on her head. Grimes died five days later of a brain hemorrhage.
FOX 25 has reached out to AMR in Quincy and at its corporate offices in Colorado for a response. AMR tells us it cannot comment on the case because it is a legal matter.
