Colo. EMT instructor accused of molesting children

CRIPPLE CREAK, Colo. — An emergency medical technician instructor at Pikes Peak Community College has been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting at least two children, the Teller County Sheriff’s Office said.

Kenneth James Cox, 44, was arrested Sept. 20 and was released from Teller County jail two days later on a $75,000 bond, records show. He is due for a first appearance on Monday at the Teller County courthouse in Cripple Creek, jail officials said.

The Gazette does not usually identify the victims of sexual assaults.
