GREECE, N.Y. — The founder and CEO of Monroe Ambulance died Saturday, according to officials.
Democrat and Chronicle reported that Eileen Coyle, 81, died suddenly at home of unknown causes, according to company spokesman Jon LeRoy.
Coyle started Monroe Medic-Trans Inc. in 1975, which is now known as Monroe Ambulance, and remained active in the company until her death. LeRoy said Coyle was motivated by “the ability to influence the well-being of customers by providing well-trained professionals and state-of-the-art equipment.”
Coyle was also a board member for the Rochester Women’s Network, president of the New York State Ambulance Association and former president of the National Association of Women Business Owners.
