Indianapolis — A week after the head coach of the Indianapolis Tornados collapsed on the sidelines and was saved thanks the work of one of the team’s cheerleaders, the two reunited for the first time.
Head Coach Jerry Senters suffered a medical emergency during the team’s July 7 game.
As the crowd called for help, cheerleader Jessica Anderson rushed to perform CPR on Senters. Anderson is an EMT who volunteers for the team’s cheerleading team. Her work is being credited with saving Senters’ life.
