NEW YORK — A driver was arrested after allegedly running down an EMT and a patient Thursday following an argument.
NBC New York reported that the EMT was loading a patient with respiratory problems into an ambulance when driver Kevin Green apparently got into an argument with the EMT about moving the ambulance, according to police.
Police said it appears that Green then attempted to go around the ambulance and struck the EMT and the patient.
The EMT was injured and the patient’s leg was broken. They were both transported to the hospital.
Green was arrested and faces two assault charges.
