BATON ROUGE, La. — A man was arrested after taking a swing at a paramedic, and punching a police officer in the face.
Jim Foster, 20, was driving on 600 River Road when at some point his vehicle got stuck on a levee RedStickNow reports.
EMS and police responded. As he was being evaluated by a paramedic, he took a swing and tried to hit her in the face, but connected her arm. He also punched a Baton Rouge police officer in the face.
Officers subdued him and placed him in handcuffs. He was charged with battery of a police officer, battery on EMS personnel, resisting arrest and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.
