The State Bar of Wisconsin is offering free estate planning for police officers, firefighters and other emergency personnel.
Services include help in creating wills and living wills, as well as providing power of attorney for financial and health care matters.
The program is called “Wills for Heroes.” It’s for all first-responders, which includes paramedics and emergency medical technicians.
The national Wills for Heroes program was created by the Wills for Heroes Foundation following the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. The Wisconsin program launched this fall.
