MIAMI — Miami Mayor Francis Suarez announced they are sending local first responders to the Bahamas for Hurricane Dorian relief efforts.
According to 4 CBS Miami, City of Miami firefighters and medical personnel will work with the U.S. Coast Guard to help with the relief effort in the Bahamas.

Suarez said they are working with federal and local governments to send aid to the hardest-hit areas. Goods were transported via the Norwegian Cruise Line and FEMA representatives will distribute supplies to affected areas.
