GALLUP, N.M. — A man was arrested after crashing into a medical helicopter and fire truck on a highway Sunday.
Firefighters and police officers were working at a crash scene when Glenn Livingston, 26, drove around barricades and crashed his vehicle into the parked medical helicopter. He also struck a fire truck, reported USA Today.
The helicopter was unoccupied at the time of the crash; no injuries were reported. First responders had set up a landing zone for the medical helicopter to transport a patient from a crash scene.
Livingston was charged with aggravated DWI and resisting, evading and obstructing an officer. The judge set a cash-only bond at $20,000. Should Livingston pay the bond, he will have to submit to a breathalizer and urine analysis, reported KOB.
KRQE reported that all vehicles involved in the incident had to be towed from the scene.
